Merry Christmas! Santa spoiled me rotten!

Actually, I have to give credit where credit is due. My husband knows what I love, and this Christmas he has completely outdone himself. Some of these gifts are from my wonderful dad, but he doesn't shop, so Mike picked them up for him. Here are my Christmas goodies from them as well as a MAC haul that was delivered on Christmas Eve! I will start reviewing some of these products as I use them.

MAC Delft Paintpot - because I cannot say no to anything teal.

MAC Chromaline. Wow. These highly pigmented cream liners can be used as face and body paint. A word of warning; most of them are NOT eye or lip safe. That being said, use at your own risk.

The colours from left - right (top row then bottom):
Pure White
Full Force Violet
Basic Red
Marine Ultra
Genuine Orange
Primary Yellow

I used Pure White and Basic Red as eyeshadow bases last night and I absolutely love them. They apply like a dream (I used my 242 brush) and dry evenly. They are also quite blendable, unlike the Shadesticks. When I applied my shadow overtop, the colours were so intense and they stayed put all night. I am in love.

MAC Lipmix in Crimson and White

I already have Red, Yellow and Blue. I haven't played with these all that much, but am hoping to mess around with them and see what I can come up with. If any of you have any suggestions for these, please reply! I would love to hear about it!

MAC Penultimate eyeliner in Rapidblack

This felt tipped black eyeliner gives the look of a liquid liner, but is so much easier to apply. I used this last night and was really pleased with how it turned out. The only problem is, that because the pen is long, I have a hard time with my left eye. With liquid liners, the handles are very short, so they kind of fit into the palm of my hand and I have more give in the way I can apply. This I had to really hold like a pen which gave me some trouble. But all in all, I was very pleased with this. It stayed put all night and it was easier for me to do a little wing at the end than with a liquid liner.

MAC Reflects Teal Glitter

This picture does this glitter no justice at all. It is so beautiful. I have no idea when I am going to wear this, but I will post pics as soon as I do! Oh, and as for application, I have been told BeneFit's Shelaq is a great way to adhere MAC glitter.

MAC Lipglass from the Chill collection

Naked Frost - Sheer taupe with silver pearl (Frost)
Snowscene - Sheer white with multidimensional pearl (Frost)
Icescape - Sheer pale pink with pink pearl (Frost)
Mmmm, lipgloss.

Here are my Christmas nails. OPI's "A Ruby for Rudolph". I had them done a few days ago so the polish isn't really fresh anymore. Now I have to figure out what colour my New Years nails are going to be!

MAC's Little Darlings: 5 Cool Pigments and Glitter

This is such an awesome set. I love the mini pigment and glitter sets because I have never even come close to going through a jar of pigment, and also, the little vials are just so darn cute! To top it off, they are glass. There is just something about itty bitty glass jars that I love. Please tell me I am not alone on that!

Teal, Blackened Red Glitter, Pinked Mauve, Quietly and Frost

I am a sucker for bags. Especially bags with a lot of pockets. Lug bags are amazing. They come in great colours, are durable, and they do have a zillion pockets. I know I am going to get a lot of use out of these babies.

Like I said.. ahem.. sucker for bags :) These two little Guess bags are going to perfect to slip my wallet, makeup and a couple other little things into when I am going shopping or anywhere else that I don't need to "Lug" (pardon the pun), all the rest of my stuff. They are so cute!!

How cool are these??? Sorry about the logo being upside down. I didn't realize that until I downloaded all of my pics. Whoops!! They are cheetah print Tweezerman's and they are fantastic. I have always wanted a pair of Tweezerman's and for Mike to pick out cheetah print ones was the icing on the cake. He knows me oh so well. I am one lucky gal!

Clarisonic Cleansing Brush

I nearly screamed when I opened up this gift!! This is actually from my dad! He rocks. I have heard such amazing reviews about this brush that I just had to try it. You apply your cleanser to the brush, turn it on and go over your face in a curcular motion. Now, I thought the whole brush head kind of spun around and I was going to get some kind of car wash for the face experience, which was a scary thought. Luckily, it doesn't spin at all, it vibrates. And it feels wonderful! I have very dry, acne prone skin. So this is wonderful for buffing away flakies and for deep cleansing.

I have only used it twice so far, but both times my skin felt fabulous afterwards. So we'll see how this goes with daily use. The Clarisonic came with three cleansers. One for dry skin, one for sensitive, and one for oily. I'll try them all since my skin is a different beast every day.

Philosophy - The Cookie Exchange

I love anything sweet smelling, so I was very excited to receive these Cookie scented body washed from Philosophy. Something fun about these.. they each have a cookie recipe printed right on the front of the bottle.

The scents are: Snicker Doodle, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar Cookie and Chocolate Chip. Mike loves foodie scents on me, so I think we are both going to love these!!

Philosophy - Kiss Kiss Kiss

The are absolutely *delicious* lipglosses from Philosophy. They are packaged in a lovely holiday set with Pumpkin Spice, Caramel Apple and Eggnog Latte. Since they are very much geared towards Christmas, I bet you can get them at a great price from Sephora now.

BeneFit - Just in Case

This cute little box has a few essencials for those days when you literally have to run out the door and do your makeup in the bathroom at work! This is going to go into one of my Lug bags so I always have it.. Just in Case!
California Kissin': A lipgloss for a bright smile
Eyecon: Brighten up those tired eyes!
Benetint: Add a touch of colour to your lips and cheeks
Some Kind-a-Gorgeous: a foundation "faker" to even out your skin

BeneFit - "that gal"

This "brightening" face primer comes out of the top of the tube in a twist up style, like gel deoderant. It is very lightweight, and pink in colour. I was worried at first that it would be too pink for my skintone, but it blends into the skin very nicely. I really don't know that it brightened my face at all, but it is a very lovely base and my foundation looked just as good at the end of the night as it did in the beginning.

BeneFit - Eye Bright

BeneFit has a lot of pencils that are meant to do different things. Eye Bright is meant to be used as a brightener on the inner and outer corners of the eye to highlight. I tried it on the blue veins under my eyes yesterday and that worked out quite well! I have to play around with it some more to see what else I can come up with. It is basically a very soft, pale pink pencil.

I have never heard of Devine before. I can't wait to try these as I am a huge lipgloss junkie (have you noticed?) ... hence why I named my blog Glossiplicity ;)

Out of all of the Harajuku perfumes, this is the only scent that I really liked. I love sweet scents, but Music combines sweet with musk which is wonderful for this time of year because it's not too fruity. With hints of pear and clementine, it's definitely Christmas-y without being typical (I am not into Spiced Vanilla etc). I put this on in the morning and by late afternoon, it still held its own and Mike loved it too!

I was so excited to open up a box with Philosophy's most popular items.

Purity Made Simple: This one step facial cleanser is meant to remove all makeup and impurities, while being gentle enough for dry, sensitive skin.

Hope in a Jar: This moisturizer is meant for all skin types. From what I have heard, it is pretty basic, and non irritating. Can't wait to try it out. I am always looking for a great moisturizer!

Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo and Shower Gel: This is a three in one floral/musky scented shower gel.

Amazing Grace Body Firming Emulsion: This body lotion has a nice list of ingredients such as shea butter, macadamia nut and olive oils, and vitamins E and C. I do not think that any cream can really firm you up (which is why I am busting my butt with a personal trainer!), but it sounds like it could be a lovely moisturizer.

Have you had experience with any of these products? Please comment about what you love and what you don't!
